II. For a localizer of the Facility Performance Category II-ILS: the horizontal field strength shall not be less than the value described below:
。)100 microvolts per meter at a distance of 18.5 kilometers from the centre of the antenna system at any point within the course sector;
「)200 microvolts per meter at a height of 15 meters above the horizontal plane of the approach end of the runway threshold.
III. For a localizer of the Facility Performance Category III-ILS, the horizontal field strength shall be not less than the value described below.
(。)100 microvolts per meter at a distance of 18.5 kilometers from the centre of the antenna system at any point within the course sector.
(「)200 microvolts per meter at 6 meters above the horizontal plane of the approach end of the runway threshold at any point within the course sector.
(」)100 microvolts per meter at a point on a straight line which connects the point 6 meters above the horizontal plane of the approach end of the runway threshold at any point within the glide path (the average locus of points nearest to the runway center line or the extended runway center line at which, DDM by the horizontally polarized wave transmitted by the glide slope at a vertical plane of the runway center line is zero, hereinafter, the same shall apply) and the point at a vertical height of 4 meters above the touchdown point (the point on the runway center line at a distance of 300 meters from the approach end of the runway threshold to the runway end (the opposite side of the approach end of the runway threshold, hereinafter, the same shall apply in this Article), and at a point with a vertical height of 4 meters above the point on the runway center line from the touchdown point to the center of the runway end.
(ィ)For the dual-frequency localizer, the greater part of the electric field by one carrier wave is produced inside of the electric field by other carrier wave and on the course sector, the horizontal electric field strength of the carrier wave producing the field inside area shall be not more than 10 dB greater than that of the carrier wave producing field outside.
(ゥ)The frequency tolerance of the 90 Hz and 150 Hz modulated waves shall be not more than 2.5 percent for a localizer of the Facility Performance Category I-ILS, 1.5 percent for a localizer of the Facility Performance Category II-ILS, and 1.0 percent for a localizer of the Facility Performance Category III-ILS.
(ェ)The characteristics of the phase of the 90 Hz modulated wave and that of the 150 Hz modulated wave within the half-course sector (the sector, in the horizontal plane of the course line at which the DDM is 0.0775) shall be as follows:
I. The modulated 90 Hz and 150 Hz waves shall pass through zero in the same direction in every half-cycle of the combined 90 Hz and 150 Hz and 150 Hz wave, and the voltage shall be zero for a period not exceeding 370 microseconds.
